We prefer to be proactive and cater to our employee needs vs being reactive. We are currently in the process of developing extensive career mapping. Our nurses will be able to log into their portal, and see what career paths are needed to reach a certain specialty, or what is available to them now based on their current specialty. For now, I think we can say that we always prioritize internal candidates when it comes to growth. We offer residency programs on a rolling basis throughout the year, so Med/Surg RNs, for example, can apply to these at any time. Even though they will likely need a residency to move into a new specialty, they are paid based of years of experience, therefore their pay would not be effected at all. 4) Succession Planning:Why join us?
