Job Description

As a Travel Consultant, you will play an essential role in helping travel advisors plan memorable and personalized trips to Africa. Your expertise in travel destinations, activities, accommodations, and budgeting will ensure that clients experience unforgettable journeys that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Expert Travel Advice: Offer insightful recommendations to clients on a wide range of destinations, activities, accommodations, and experiences across Africa.

Budget Planning: Work closely with clients to understand their travel goals and establish realistic budgets. Create travel packages that align with these budgets and provide excellent value.

Collaborate with Local Partners: Work with Destination Management Companies (DMCs) in various destinations to ensure smooth planning and execution of trips.

Personalized Itinerary Creation: Develop custom day-by-day itineraries that take into account clients' preferences, interests, ages, and budget, ensuring each trip is uniquely tailored.

Client Communication and Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the planning process, following up on their travel plans and making adjustments as needed to ensure satisfaction.

Problem Resolution: Provide timely assistance in resolving unexpected challenges, such as flight cancellations or hotel issues, to ensure clients' travel experiences remain seamless.

Passion for travel and knowledge of Africa's diverse destinations and offerings.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with both clients and local partners.
