This role is based in a cutting-edge medical dispensary within a leading cannabis company. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Pharmacist. This position provides a unique opportunity to apply your pharmaceutical expertise in an evolving field, with a focus on medical cannabis products. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care and services, while also staying up-to-date with the latest medical cannabis products and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Pharmacist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medical cannabis products to patients.
2. Providing exceptional patient care, including counseling patients on the use of medical cannabis and its potential effects.
3. Staying up-to-date with the latest medical cannabis products, research, and state regulations.
4. Working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
5. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with all state regulations and standards of practice.
6. Participating in continuous professional development and education related to medical cannabis.
7. Overseeing inventory management and ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following:
1. An active and unrestricted pharmacist license.
2. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
4. Previous experience in a medical cannabis dispensary or related field is highly preferred.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of medical cannabis and related state regulations.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
7. A strong commitment to patient care and service.
8. The ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
9. A proactive approach to staying informed about the latest developments in medical cannabis.
