Shift and Pay Details:
Day Shift: $16.50/hour, 6am-3:30pm (30 minute lunch)
Night Shift: $17.50/hour, 4pm-1:30am (30 minute lunch)
* Flexibility Required. Drivers will work anywhere from 3 to 5 shifts/week, depending on volume. Shifts can be any day of the week and availability to work weekends is required. *
What does a typical day as a vehicle test driver look like?
You’ll be:
Testing prototype vehicles on both proving ground courses and public roads by following detailed test driving patterns and procedures
Operating environmental and corrosion test chambers during vehicle testing
Performing repeated operations of all vehicle components including but not limited to: audio and infotainment systems, autonomous driving technology, seat adjustments, interior parts, doors, etc.
Evaluating test vehicles to detect and report concerns with a high level of detail
Adding and removing cargo from vehicles (roof, back seat, trunk, etc.)
Job Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
At least five years of driving experience
Clean driving record
Must be flexible to work on weekends
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass DOT physical
