This area of North Dakota is beautiful with rolling hills, lakes, state parks, and numerous outdoor activities, including hunting, excellent fishing, hiking, golfing, and much more.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:- High School diploma or GED; 2- or 4-year degree beneficial- Ag background and experience overseeing an Agronomy facility preferred- Previous experience supervising Agronomy Operations personnel preferred- Experience operating/maintaining equipment, machinery, and hand tools a MUST- Safety-focused with ability to maintain/promote a strong safety work environment- Solid communication skills, including verbal and written, as well as timely record keeping and reporting- Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen*Must be eligible to work in the US as well as meet the qualifications listed above in order to be considered for this Facility Operations Manager - Fertilizer role.JOB DESCRIPTION:Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Well-Established Agronomy Retailer/Services Provider in hiring a Facility Operations Manager for their Fertilizer plant located in Western North Dakota. Primary responsibility for this individual knowledgeable in Agronomy and Fertilizer will be to manage and operate the Fertilizer Plant, Equipment and Personnel. Other responsibilities to include:- Building/Maintaining positive Ag grower customer relationships as first point of contact- Managing all full-time and seasonal employees affiliated with the plant- Utilizing Best Management Practices for inventory control- Operating all equipment including forklift, skid steer, and front end loader- Maintaining all equipment, facilities, and other company assets- Safely and efficiently using materials and machines- Assisting with maintaining records/reports necessary to comply with government regulations- Assisting in operational expense control with regard to employees and maintenance costs- Supporting and complying with all company policies, procedures, goals, and objectives BENEFITS: Employee Discount, Health Saving Acct., Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Matching 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Vacation ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
