Responsibilities: Working with Tier-1/OEM team for acceptance, release & improvements. Should coordinate with engineers located at different global technical centers. Co-ordination with OEM and supplier resident engineer if required. Team player, Self-learner/motivated. Own responsibilities. Requirements: ~ Experience in Design and development of exterior (Front, Rear and Center) lighting using Catia V5. ~ Concept developments, Analytical calculations on design requirements. ~ Experience in lamp integration with vehicle is preferred. ~ Experience in designing Lamp housing, Heatsink, 2K Lens, light blades, Bezels, Base plates Lamp assemblies. ~ Experience in DFA, DFM evaluations for Metal Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, Tolerance calculation. ~ Integration of electrical PCB’s, connectors with space optimization techniques. ~ Knowledge on thermal, mechanical and defogging requirements for lamps. ~2D drawings creation for mechanical parts with suitable tolerance scheme. ~ Experience in release of 3D and 2D in PLM system. ~ Must have lighting program work experience. ~ Working experience in Automotive lighting development. ~ Team player, Self-learner/motivated. ~ Agile to learn new & advanced skills. ~ Self-confidence. ~ Good team worker. ~ Good interpersonal skills. ~ English is a must. ~ Knowledge of other languages (Japanese) is added advantage. ~ BE or BTech / M.Sc/ M.E in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
