Job Description

Our client, a nonprofit located in the Metro Boston area, is looking for an Events & Financial Operations Assistant to join their team. They advocate for transportation solutions that are safe, affordable, and enjoyable. This role is a mixture of Operations & Financial Upkeep as well as Event Planning and Administrative Support. This position is PT, 30 hours/week, and pays 25/hr on the contract side.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the invoicing & financial operations which will include processing checks, updating spreadsheets, communicating with the accountant, and reconciling expense reports
  • Events support including partnering with a Senior Staff member and a member of their Board of Directors to execute a fundraiser with high-level speakers
  • Supporting grants & policy work with managing schedules & calendars, sending links, drafting correspondence, assisting with the application process, and proofing documents
  • Comfortable with Google Drive
