Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Cashier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. Responsibilities-

Customer Service:

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Assist customers in placing orders and provide recommendations when necessary.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.

Order Processing:

• Accurately input orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision.
• Ensure the accuracy of bills and provide customers with the correct change.

Maintain Cleanliness:

• Keep the cashier area and surrounding workspaces clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to address any customer concerns.

Cash Handling:

• Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Follow established cash handling procedures to prevent discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong numerical and math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
