Currently, we are looking to urgently fill forklift driver positions in our Warehouse

Competitive starting rates of pay plus 0.50 shift differential for the 2nd shift!

Overtime offered for daily and weekend shifts.

**What You Do**

As a forklift driver you will be given the opportunity to operate up to 5 different forklift machines (order picker, sit down, pallet jack, reach, turret).

We will provide training on those trucks you haven't yet driven. Drivers must follow all driver safety guidelines, yielding to pedestrians at all times and work to meet or exceed quantity and quality standards to preserve product, facilities and machinery, while filling customer orders.

Essential Functions

To be successful in this role, you must enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment! We are looking for highly motivated individuals who demonstrate reliable attendance and a willingness to learn. To do this, we need everyone to work together and be flexible to move to different areas in the warehouse based upon business needs. You will be required to demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and coordination; organize and store all inbound inventory electronically; pull products based upon customer orders and prepare for outbound shipping; safely and without damage, move pallets of product throughout the warehouse; operate forklifts around low overheads, exercising machine height awareness and strictly operate the correct forklift in designated areas only.

On occasion, you may use handheld scanners and printers to pull customer orders; carefully stack pallets to ensure stable movement; load and unload product at significant heights.

At all times, you will be expected to follow strict safety practices including OSHA required procedures including but not limited to machine check-in/out, machine operations and standards, personal protective equipment (PPE), proper lifting techniques, and report all accidents no matter how minor.

Our ultimate goal is to exceed our customers expectations by delivering quality products in a timely manner. To do this, we need everyone to work together and be flexible to move to different areas in the warehouse based upon business needs. Continuous body movement and the ability to stand for long periods of time; lifting, pushing and pulling continuously up to 50 lbs will allow you to meet these expectations.

**Knowledge & Experience**

Some warehouse experience is preferred, but we will train you if you have no experience.

Acts with integrity and trust, promoting our bookselling culture and core values.

Basic written and verbal English communications skills.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Basic mathematical skills.
